SHEIN takes the health and well-being of employees seriously. Everyone should feel safe at work. That’s why SHEIN has in place robust training requirements and policies that govern our approach to anti-harassment, discrimination and work-related health and safety. “In one word, SHEIN’s team is diverse. The reason is that diversity within the team brings together individuals from various cultural, ethnic, and educational backgrounds, which enhances the team’s ability to approach challenges from different angles. This visibility also promotes a culture of inclusion where everyone’s voice is valued and respected.”

Training and Development

At SHEIN, we invest in our employees’ continued growth and development. In 2024, approximately US$2.1 million was spent on employee training and upskilling through both in-person workshops and online courses made available through SHEIN Academy, our in-house online learning management system which offers flexible learning resources. Through both structured and self-guided learning, SHEIN employees clocked more than 133,000 training hours in 2024, with an average of 8 training hours per employee.
Empowering External Talent
SHEIN X Designer Incubator Program

“Working with SHEIN has been such a blessing in many ways. I’ve been given the opportunity to share my vision and my work with customers on a global scale. As a luxury design brand, many of my independent works are too expensive for the everyday consumer. Through the SHEIN X program, I’ve been able to share my work and my brand with so many more people. My followers and fanbase have grown tremendously.”
Kaori Semaj, SHEIN X Designer

Designers are offered support in handling product development, marketing, and logistics, and earn commissions on sales and retain the intellectual property rights to their designs
SHEIN has committed US$105 million towards the SHEIN X Designer Incubator Program up till 2028, to empower emerging designers to build their own successful brands. Since launching in January 2021, the SHEIN X Designer Incubator Program has grown from only seven to more than 5,300 designers and artists from around the world.
